The Bulgarian city of Sofia has been chosen to host the 2022 trampoline, tumbling and DMT world championships, the FIG has announed.
The event will take place from November 15-18 at the city’s Arena Armeec, which staged the championships in 2013 and 2017.
The championships will be followed by the World Age Group competitions.
The inaugural Parkour World Championships will be held in Hiroshima, Japan, from April 3-5, 2020. This is around 100 days before the Olympic Games are held in Tokyo.
Meanwhile, the 2022
Gymnastics World Championships has been awarded to Baku in Azerbaijan.
The event will run from March 11-13 in the city, which is hosting the 2019 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, the 2020 Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships and the 2021 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships.
