Christophe Lambert Knight of the Legion of Honour (France)

We won't lie—we're incredibly proud to announce that our friend Christophe Lambert has been appointed a Knight of the French National Order of the Legion of Honour this 14 July.

Following last year's recognition of Michel Rouquette, our citizen-led initiative has once again been successful.

Our warmest congratulations to Christophe on this prestigious distinction, which recognizes his outstanding commitment to sport, gymnastics, and the French sporting movement.

For those who may not know him yet, Christophe Lambert has notably:

🏅 Two-time World Team Tumbling Champion.

🇫🇷 French National Tumbling Coach from 1990 to 2002.

🏆 High Performance Director for Trampoline, Tumbling, and Acrobatic Gymnastics from 2002 to 2013.

🤸‍♂️ Deputy National Technical Director, responsible for High Performance, from 2013 to 2016.

🎯 High Performance Director for Trampoline and Tumbling from 2016 to 2024.

🏛️ Performance Director of the French Gymnastics Federation (FFGym) since January 2025.

🌍 President of the FIG Trampoline Technical Committee.

This honour is richly deserved and recognizes more than thirty years of dedication and passion in the service of our sport.
