The ongoing Covid pandemic has led to more World Cup and World Championships competitions being cancelled or postponed, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has announced.
In addition to the previously announced events, the Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, has been pushed back by one week.
The 35th World Championships in Baku will now be held November 18-21, 2021.
The 28th World Age Group Competitions will then follow from November 26-29, 2021.
These changes are due to the postponement of the FIG Congress from 2020 to November 2021.
The 27th Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships has been postponed by two weeks.
The event will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from July 2-4, 2021.
The 11th World Age Group Competitions will be held from June 23-29, 2021.
Another event to be affected by the coronavirus pandemic is the first parkour world championships. This event has been postponed for a second time.
There is no new date for the championships, which was due to take place March 26-28 in Hiroshima, Japan.
The Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup, which was due to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from March 4 to 7, has been cancelled.
The All-Around World Cup Series, which is qualifying event for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, which was to be held in Stuttgart, Germany on March 20-21, has been cancelled too.
The Aerobic Gymnastics World Cup in Suzuki, Tokyo, which had been due to take place April 24-25, has also been postponed.
The Aerobic Gymnastics World Cup in Cantanhede, Portugal, which had been due to take place March 26-28, has also been cancelled.
For Rhythmic Gymnastics, the All-Around World Cup, which is a qualifier for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in Sofia, Bulgaria has been brought forward by two weeks and will be held 26-28 March 2021.
