He Yuxiang 2010 Asian Junior Champion
March 16, 2010: He Yuxiang (CHN) was crowned 2010 Asian Junior Champion today thanks to a sterling performance in the men's trampoline final at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Cheng Haopeng (CHN) captured the silver medal, whereas Ginga Munemoto (JPN) claimed the bronze medal.
Dong Yu wins the 2010 Asian Junior Championships
March 15, 2010: Dong Yu (CHN) became the first Asian Junior Champion in trampoline as she triumphed in the women's trampoline final of the 2010 Asian Junior Championships held today at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Chisato Doihata (JPN) and Miyu Yoshimura (JPN) captured the silver and bronze medals for the host country. Link to videos added.
Chinese Domination in the 2010 Asian Junior Championships Preliminaries
March 14, 2010: The Chinese team cruised through the women's and men's preliminaries of the Asian Junior Championships that took place yesterday and today in Chiba, Japan. In the women's, Dong Yu (CHN) took the lead over Liu Lingling (CHN) and Wu Chuwen (CHN). In the men's, Cheng Haopeng (CHN) claimed the first place over He Yuxiang (CHN) and Ge Fei (CHN). Triumph for Zhong Xingping and Dong Dong at the 2009 Chinese National Games
October 14, 2009: Zhong Xingping (Guangdong) edged Li Dan (Guangdong) and Huang Shanshan (Fujian) to win the women's individual trampoline competition of the 11th Chinese National Games held today in Jinan, Shandong. In a men's individual trampoline final where two trampolinists competed 17.40 pt tariffs, Dong Dong (Shanxi) prevailed over Tu Xiao (Shanxi) and Lu Chunlong (Jiangsu). Overall, these Chinese National Games were almost undoubtedly the national competition with the highest level ever in trampoline history. Pictures and videos added.
Two Gold Medals for Fujian at the 2009 Chinese National Games
October 13, 2009: The Fujian provincial team won the gold medals of both women's and men's combined trampoline-tumbling team competitions of the 11th Chinese National Games held today in Jinan, Shandong. The silver and bronze medals respectively went to Shanghai and Zhejiang in the women's, and Shandong and Shanxi in the men's. Pictures and videos added.
