Analysis of the Difficulty of the 2006 Routines
March 20, 2007: Like for 2005, AcrobaticSports.com compiled a list of all the male athletes who have performed routines of 15.00 pts or more, and all female athletes who have performed routines of 13.00 pts or more at international or domestic competitions in 2006. In the men's, the main conclusion of this analytical report is that a 16.00+ pt difficulty has become widely performed in the men's and seems to have replaced 15.00 pt as a real difference-maker. In the women's, it seems that the difficulty has plateaued in 2006. Peter Jensen (DEN - 17.20 pts) and Irina Karavaeva (14.70 pts) performed the highest tariffs in 2006. 10 Russian and 10 Chinese men performed 16.00+ pt tariffs.
