700 gymnasts to descend on Baku for Trampoline and Tumbling Europeans 2018

More than 700 gymnasts are set to descend on Baku for the 26th European Championships in Trampoline, Double Mini-Trampoline and Tumbling as the preparations continue apace.

The event, being held from April 12-15 at the National Gymnastics Arena in the Azerbaijani capital, has seen registrations of 325 senior gymnasts from 24 federations, along side 392 gymnasts from 26 federations for the juniors.

The registrations break down is as follows:

Individual Trampoline:

  • Senior men: 76
  • Senior women: 59
  • Junior men: 71
  • Junior women: 81

Synchronised Trampoline:

  • Senior men: 28
  • Senior women: 21
  • Junior men: 28
  • Junior men: 36


  • Senior men: 27
  • Senior women: 27
  • Junior men: 34
  • Junior men: 32

Double-mini trampoline:

  • Senior men: 24
  • Senior women: 14
  • Junior men: 26
  • Junior men: 20

Baku is not stranger to hosting large international competitions. In 2015, the National Gymnastics Arena hosted the gymnastics events for the inaugural European Games, and it has gone on to hold a number of World and European competitions in various disciplines.
