AcrobaticSports.com: What are
your feelings after having won the World Cup Final in
synchronized trampoline with Michael
Serth? You took the silver medal at the
2004 World Cup Final in Algiers, now you are the kings of
synchronized trampoline after having also won the 2005 World
Games in Duisburg, aren't you?
Henrik Stehlik: Thanks a
lot. The victory in synchronized trampoline made us
really happy, Michael and me. We were
well prepared, motivated, and we hoped to win the World Cup
Final. It was really important to me that we did well and
won because the others also showed great
performances.
AcrobaticSports.com: What is
your analysis of your performance in individual
trampoline? What were you missing to leave Birmingham
with a medal in individual?
Henrik Stehlik: Even though
I did not win a medal in individual this time, I was pleased
with my routine. May be I could have performed the end of
my routine more masterfully to move up in the final
standings.
AcrobaticSports.com: What
impression did Yasuhiro Ueyama's performance
make on you?
Henrik Stehlik:
Yasuhiro did a great performance, and I
congratulate him for his medal, as well as the other
medalists. The World Cup Final in individual was of a
very high level, and was a good conclusion to the
season.
AcrobaticSports.com: What do
you think of the other results of the German team?
Henrik Stehlik: I am very
happy for Anna [Dogonadze]
and Jessica [Simon].
They did a great performance and showed at the end of a very
long season that they could still compete for a
medal.
AcrobaticSports.com: What are
you going to do within the next few months sports-wise and
professionally?
Henrik Stehlik: The season
is almost over, and I am scheduled for a show, a conference, as
well as private meetings. I will spend the Chrismas
vacation with my family in the Czech Republic. This
semester will also allow me to start preparing for next years'
final exams. I will try to rest within the next few weeks
because next year will be really tough.
