    Warm up day in Birmingham
  By Lefebvre Guillaume
November 24, 2006: The 2006 World Cup Final kicks off tomorrow. Today was a warm up day at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, Great Britain. The event will be broadcasted in the UK on Sunday on BBC Two. It will also be broadcasted for free on the British Gymnastics TV web channel on the internet.

The 8th World Cup Final in trampoline and tumbling will take place tomorrow at 1:30 pm at the 5,000-seat National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, Great Britain.

The event will be broadcasted in the United Kingdom on Sunday at 1:05 pm on BBC Two.  Andrea Holmes (GBR - pictured on the right), the 3-time European Champion, 4-time World silver medalist, and 2-time World Cup Final winner, will be the color analyst on BBC Two.

The event will also be available live on the internet for free on the British Gymnastics TV web channel (www.bgtv.biz) starting at 1:25 pm on November 25, 2006.

The quality of the organization of the World Cup Final appears to top notch.

Based on the trainings pre-competition that took place today, the quality of the show promised to be as high as the finals of a World Championship.  The show in tumbling seems to be particularly brilliant based on the performances in training of 2005 World Champion Wang Jiexu (CHN) and his teammate Pan Huanian (CHN).

Athletes from 14 countries will compete.

An orientation meeting was held with for the officials and gymnasts.

AcrobaticSports.com would like to thank French Tumbling Head Coach Didier Semmola for his input.
