The TGJ Salzgitter led by 2003 World Champion Henrik Stehlik and Dennis Luxon won the 2006 German Team Championship held in Worms on June 24-25, 2006. All major athletes competed routines with a reduced difficulty.
In the men's, the TGJ Salzgitter team made of Henrik Stehlik, Dennis Luxon, Michael Serth, and Alexander Lokschin won the competition with 108.30 pts. The MTV Bad Kreuznach led by Martin Gromowski took the 2nd place with 103.90 pts while the ETSV Itzehoe finished 3rd with 95.00 pts.
The women's competition also saw a victory of the TGJ Salzgitter. The team made of Catherine Auerbach, Lara Hueninghake, Viola Gaida, and Slovak international Katarina Prokesova won the gold by a significant margin with 98.20 pts. The TV Weingarten finished 2nd and the bronze was won by the TV Schaafheim.
In the junior competition, the TV Nordhorn prevailed in the women's, and the Frankfurt Flyers (Ivano Monaco, Kyrylo Sonn, Laszlo Pobloth, and Georgi Magashvili) brilliantly won the competition in the men's.
The individual competition saw the victory of Henrik Stehlik (101.00 pts with a 9.00 pt tariff), ahead of fellow 2006 European Team Champion member Dennis Luxon (98.80 pts with a 10.30 pt tariff - pictured on the right), and 2005 German Champion Martin Gromowski (98.60 pts).
In the women's, Lara Hueninghake (93.30 pts) prevailed over Catherine Auerbach (90.40 pts).
Ivano Monaco won the men's junior competition with 97.40 pts (13.60 pt tariff).
