The Polish Cup took place in Bielsko-Biala on March 25-26, 2006. Events in acrobatic gymnastics, tumbling and trampoline took place.
In the men's tumbling event, 2005 World bronze medalist Jozef Wadecki (Zielona Gora) prevailed. He won with a total of 147.20 pts thanks to two last passes scoring 39.00 (11.70 pt tariff) and 39.90 (12.10 pt tariff). Sebastian Sondel, who had the lead after the preliminaries, finished 2nd with 145.10 pts. Sondel from Katowice where he is coached by former tumbling great Krzysztof Wilusz performed passes with difficulties between 8.80 pts and 9.50 pts. Jacek Wodyk finished 3rd with 135.60 pts, followed by Tomasz Wadecki, Jozef Wadecki's brother. Agnieszka Janas (Katowice) won the women's event with 129.10 pts.
In trampoline, Iga Mokrzycka (Zielona Gora) prevailed with 100.50 pts (12.50 and 11.50 pt tariffs). She was followed by Agnieszka Stanek (Rzeszow), who obtained 98.50 pts thanks to a 12.20 pt tariff performed in the final, and Emilia Zawadzka (Jawor) with 93.90 pts. The men's trampoline event was very tight with the three medalists within 9 tenths of each others. Lukasz Tomaszewski (Wroclaw) emerged as the winner with 100.90 pts (14.40 pt tariff), ahead of Dawid Ciesielski (Poznan - 100.40 pts - 14.40 pt tariff) and Radoslaw Barc (Rzeszow - 100.00 pts). Polish national hope Boleslaw Guzek (Rzeszow), who was born in 1991, finished 4th. Jakub Kubiak won the junior event with 98.10 pts (13.50 pt tariff).
In acrobatic gymnastics, the European silver medalists Beata Surmiak and Lukasz Misztela won the mixed pair event with 83.44 pts. Anna Filipowska and Anna Brylka (Katowice) won the women's pair event as the 2005 European silver medalists Anna Mladzielec and Magda Wegrzynowicz did not compete. Pawel Walczewski and Adrian Czyz (Warsaw) convincingly won the men's pair event with 83.56 pts. The women's group event was won by a trio from Bielsko-Biala.
