	May 2, 2008: The 2008 European Championships came to an end today at Arena Fyn in Odense, Denmark, with the individual finals in the senior and junior competitions. Irina Karavaeva (RUS) won a record 5th European Champion title in the senior women's trampoline event, whereas Yuri Nikitin (UKR) reclaimed his title in the men's. Yulia Domchevska-Elena Movchan (UKR) and Viacheslav Model-Nikolai Kazak (BLR) won the European title in senior synchronized trampoline. Elena Chabanenko (UKR) and Andrei Krylov (RUS) were crowned in tumbling. Nicole Pacheco (POR) and Dimitri Fedorovsky (RUS) prevailed in DMT. In junior, Mikhail Melnik (RUS) became the only 2nd man in history to win the title twice in individual, whereas Emma Smith (GBR) won the women's event. Many pictures from Vladimir Zeman added. May 2, 2008: Russia won five of the six team finals (men's trampoline, men's and women's DMT, and men's and women's tumbling) of the 2008 European Championships held today in Odense, Denmark. The Ukraine retained its title in the women's trampoline event, barely preventing a Russian sweep of the team finals. Irina Karavaeva (RUS) and Yuri Nikitin (UKR) took the lead in the individual trampoline preliminaries in the afternoon. May 1, 2008: Russia won 5 gold medals in the team finals of the 2008 European Youth Championships held in Odense, Denmark, today, leaving only one gold medal to Great Britain in women's tumbling. Nadezhda Glebova (RUS) and Mikhail Melnik (RUS) took the lead in the individual trampoline preliminaries. Rachael Letsche (GBR) and Denis Belkin (RUS) dominated the preliminaries in tumbling, whereas Svetlana Karavaeva (RUS) and Mikhail Zalomin (RUS) came in 1st places in the DMT preliminaries. May 1, 2008: World Champions Andrei Krylov (RUS) and Anna Korobeynikova (RUS) took the lead after the tumbling preliminaries of the 21st European Championships held yesterday at Arena Fyn in Odense, Denmark. In the DMT preliminaries, Viktoria Voronina (RUS) and Sergei Kovalev (RUS) extended the Russian domination that day, whereas World Champion Kirill Ivanov (RUS) failed to qualify for the finals. The synchronized trampoline preliminaries of the 19th European Youth Championships were dominated by Evgeni Doka-Alexander Satin (UKR) and Emma Britton-Zoe Brookes (GBR). Full Story

April 27, 2008: Lu Chunlong (CHN) and Zhong Xingping (CHN) triumphed in the trampoline competition of a 2008 Cup of Flanders dominated by the Chinese national team. Major Changes Proposed to the World Cup series...
February 29, 2008: The FIG Trampoline Technical Committee has proposed major changes to the rules applicable to the World Cup series, including a cap to the number of World Cups per year, the introduction of semi-finals, the elimination of separate World Cup categories, the attribution of points to the top 30 gymnasts in each event, and the opening of the last World Cup of each series only to the top 30 gymnasts. February 29, 2008: The representatives of the delegations agreed to many of the changes to the 2009-2012 Code of Points as proposed by the FIG Trampoline Technical Committee, including the adoption of a semi final at World Championships and changes to trampoline difficulty with extra tenths for triple and quadruple somersaults. Karavaeva and Ye 2007 World Champions
November 3, 2007: Irina Karavaeva (RUS) won her 5th World Champion title! Ye Shuai (CHN) became the first World Champion from Asia in men's trampoline. Gold medals for Karen Cockburn-Rosie MacLennan (CAN) and Tetsuya Sotomura-Yasuhiro Ueyama (JPN) in synchronized trampoline. Kirill Ivanov (RUS) new World Champion in DMT after beating 3 World Records. Sarah Charles (CAN) reconquered her title in women's DMT. Andrei Krylov (RUS) is the new tumbling World Champion. November 8, 2007: Laura Gallagher (GBR) and Sergei Azarian (RUS) in 17-18 and Saylee Dunavin (USA) and Angel Hernandez (ESP) were the first winners in trampoline at the 2007 WAGC at the Pavillon de la Jeunesse in Quebec City. Tumbling titles in 13-14 went to Valentina Zinets (RUS) and Maurice Dunker (USA). In 15-16 DMT, Nani Vercruyssen (USA) and Mikhail Melnik (RUS) were brilliant winners.
